  • Security By Obscurity

People would wonder why I’m not scared of posting a lot of stuff about myself over the internet. I’m really not, for some reason. I just found out, by trial and error, which ones to post and which ones to hide. Its a little technique I call “security by obscurity”. I’m sure a handful of you already heard of the term.

Let me share with you how it works for me. Read the rest of this entry »

  • Moving Soon

We’ve been living (renting) in the extreme northern part of QC for almost 3 years. We love it there, the air is clean and crisp. Elise can attest to that. Since we moved there, she wasn’t hospitalized for pneumonia (which she has been every year since she was born). But due to extreme traffic conditions, we have to look for some place nearer where the hubby and I work.

When I started searching online, I’ve come across a lot of online listings but this one caught my fancy, AyosDito.ph. Although it’s positioning itself to be a buy and sell site, it has postings for almost everything under the sun.  Its actually like a better, more intuitive (and nicer looking) craigslist. • Are you the Philippines Smartest Driver?

I sold my car last December and up to now I’m still saving up for a new one. And saving for me is never the easy feat.

I’m still deciding over a Honda City or a Hyundai Accent. They’re both fuel economic  (well, based on my research, anyways).  I was leaning towards the Accent because its diesel and the parts are cheap. But after I’ve seen my officemates, most of whom drive a City, and attest that it’s easier to re-sell their cars than the other, encouraged to get the jap car instead.

Anyways, that’s not the point of this post.  A few years ago, I posted this article about fuel saving tips. And then I heard that Pilipinas Shell’s searching for the country’s smartest drivers in the upcoming Shell Eco Marathon.

  • Sadness is….

    Elise: (woke up, screaming) Mommyyyyyy!!

    Mommy: Yes, darling?

Elise: Why did you leave my side?

Mommy: Because I’m getting ready to go to the office.

Elise: I don’t want you to go.

Mommy: I’ll be back soon, and your cousins are here to play with you.

Elise: I don’t want them, I want you.

    *sigh*
