I gave birth last Friday, 26th of May 2006 around 12:45 am in an emergency cesearean section. My blood pressure shot up to 180/120 and I was on the verge of siezures so they had to take the baby out from me or she might suffer more. Baby Elise Gabrielle was 4 weeks preterm and she had to be left in the neonatal ICU for an undetermined number of days. She was born 8 months premature at 3.2 lbs and is 15 inches long. The specialist also observed that she has symptoms of sepsis and special medicines were administered to boost her immune system.
I’m just happy that my daughter and I were alive after what we’ve been through. I’m just sad that Pau and I had to go home empty handed. We just pray that we can bring our little princess home soon.
