The Elise Update: 10 months, 3 weeks

Milestones:
1. Can stand for 3-5 seconds on her own, after pulling herself up.
2. Babbles a lot (very madaldal), can’t wait til she calls me mommy
3. Drinks from a cup.
4. Can dance to the tune of “lucky me” and “arimunding”.
5. Mimics sounds and expressions.
6. Can do “beautiful eyes”
7. Understands “no” if you say so.

She’ll be turning 1 in 33 days. Planning for that perfect party for the unica hija fills my head all the time.
Movie Preview Voice Over Talent

As much as I want to be on time for a movie, I’ve always wanted to come in a few minutes early just to get a glimpse of the entertaining “coming soon” previews. A movie fanatic, a few eons ago, I can’t seem to get over that oh so familiar narrator’s voice. It seems like his voice never ages at all. He has the consistent soothing voice for most of my movie-watching years. It just only now, after reading a friend’s blog, that I realize, it can actually be done by different people whose talents are really in voice performing. Check out this guy Pablo Francisco in YouTube.

I just found out that the Philippines houses the 3 largest malls in the world, according to Forbes.com. With Mall of Asia as #3, #5 is Megmall and SM North Edsa as #9.

Malls would definitely be an instant hit to both locals and foreigners this summer. With the scorching heat and the humid weather, who wouldn’t succumb to the cool airconditioned edifice? Definitely cheaper than turning on the aircon at home full blast.
But if you ask me, i’d rather be dipping in a pool to cool myself off. Then have barbeque’s on standby ready to be devoured. Watermelon shakes all around. Utak bakasyon na talaga.
