National Thank You Day + SERT #3

National Thank You DayI saw this billboard near the Quezon Ave. MRT station yesterday and its about the country celebrating a National Thank You Day. The curious george that I was searched and came across the site and read what its all about, as soon as I got in the office.

I’d like to think that aside from a chocolate company creating and capitalizing on a new holiday (much like those greeting card events), its also a genuine way of reminding people to be grateful of what they have and who they are.

MRT and Me

MRT Buendia StationI like taking the MRT to work. Aside from it being a cheaper mode of transpo, faster, and that it contributes less to pollution, I also get some kind of satisfaction whizzing by vehicles that get stuck in the traffic below. *smirks*

Four years ago, when I first started journalizing, was also the same year when my parents left for the US to start a new life. I wanted a channel where I can update my parents about what’s happening and at the same time try out a digital version of my diary.
