Life is a Game, Get Ready to Play

I agree what they say that “once a gamer, always a gamer”. I may not be as much of a gamer as I was before, but I still play, especially at the office. (Don’t I have a cool workplace?)

I fell in love with Pangya from the moment I first teed off online. I even won a few tournaments. I wasn’t an exceptional player nor was ever a golf enthusiast but I enjoyed the game a whole lot. I played even more when I was ordered on house arrest while pregnant with Elise.

Anyway, I haven’t played for a while until a few months ago, when I came aboard my current work (where we were encouraged to play whenever we’re free).

What struck me most is that there’s so little players online nowadays. Unlike the first few months of the game where it was almost impossible to play because the servers were always full. Its also one of the few MMO’s you can play and need not shell out a cent to conquer. But yeah, buying credits will help you level up faster.

When I played this afternoon, I chatted with the higher level pangsters, asking them why the sudden loss of players. They said its because of the lack of updates (other sites are serving season 3 now) and that there where other good games that were already free to play like RF Online. (which most of of the peeps in the department play, aside from FreeStyle)

I’d hate to see my favorite online casual game die out a slow and painful death. I just hope that the promo, which starts tomorrow until the end of the week, will help revive my beloved game.
