My baby brother turned 26 today. A big bulk of a guy with a big heart to boot.
My Dad told me all about his birth story and its really quite interesting.
After having two daughters delivered via CS, you now have an idea how much they’ve been praying for the youngest to be a boy. It wasn’t a joke for my mom (who has a low threshold for pain) to be cut up for the third time.
They had the brother’s birth scheduled same as a celebrated holiday in North Korea. No ultrasound yet during those times so baby number 3’s gender still an unknown.
The funny thing is that my Dad was served 2 hotdogs and an egg (boiled) for breakfast at the hospital that day. Not only that, they were given a blue-walled room and it was the only one available that time.
It was also the birth when my mom experienced pre-eclampsia, same as me.
