We used to watch movies as often as every week before Elise came. So when my parents sent us a DVD player, the husband started buying/hoarding those cheap (please read between the lines) DVDs for us to enjoy at home. He’d rather buy than pay to watch because he’s that type of person who would want to watch a movie over and over and over, if he likes it.
I’m a fan of full length animated films and we were lucky that we’re able to procure a DVD copy of “Meet the Robinsons” that’s after convincing him and telling him about the good online reviews.
So, was the movie good? Let’s just say I watched the movie 3 times now and all those times I cried on the last 10 minutes of the movie. Its so heart-warming, so inspiring.
Kudos to Disney for churning out another excellent and wholesome family film. Just when I thought I’ve seen all the angles on time travel, this flick came along to change my cliche-ic view on the theme. And its take on the importance of family is just sooo good!
If you have kids, both young and old, may I suggest you watching this, all together. Bring out the popcorn and soda juice, its show time!
