Yes, peeps, you read it right. Evidently, a lot of studies proved that eating breakfast gives your body and metabolism that extra boost to keep you going throughout the day.
It may sound like an ad from a breakfast cereal box, but its true. Here are some of the benefits from breakfast:
- Eating early in the day keeps us from “starvation eating” later on
- Jumpstarts our metabolism
- Increases leptin output which supresses appetite
Here are some sites that will prove this point:
- WebMD.com
- SparkPeople.com
- About.com
- or search this phrase “lose weight eat breakfast- in Google to find some more articles
Convinced? I know I am. I’ve been eating hearty breakfasts for 2 weeks now and doing so made me last without my usual morning AND afternoon snacks. I eat breakfast at around 8 am and eat lunch around 1pm. Then I can last until 8 pm with just peanuts or crackers at around 5pm.
I haven’t weighed myself yet but I know that me lasting without snacks already means a lot. I’m both saving money and hopefully losing some weight too.

I agree with this information. I do eat breakfast, too but it is the “other” factors that made me eat more at mealtimes and made me overweight.
Aiza: Me, too. I really need to exercise to lose more and keep my hypertensive heart in shape.
