We used to live with my Grandma on the first year of our marriage. She would always have something to say about almost everything and anything. She also have a funny way of showing us how much she cares - by being uber sarcastic about it, hahaha! But its alright, I’m used to it and the fact that she still shows how much she cares, albeit in a different way, fuels our love-hate relationship.
So during the time I was pregnant, she would question me as to why I have to go to the doctor every month and spend for doctor’s fees, gas, etc. each and every visit.
She told me, “you know, I had 6 healthy children and not once did I go to the doctor for a checkup. While you, you had to pay the doctor’s fee each and every time you go and visit her. Not to mention the parking fee and gas. Magastos ka masyado! You should be saving the money for the baby, nalang!”
Then I told her, “eh, Grandma naman, why do you need to go to the doctor, when you were already married to one?”
