Hey, Jealousy!

This must be, by far, the one of the funnest times of toddlerhood. Elise is now extra clingy and gets super jealous easily. I’m kinda enjoying the fact that she’s being uber attached to me, it makes me miss her more when I’m not around.

Do you see her reaction here? A closer look at her facial expression after the jump…

Ahaha…that’s when Quico, a co-worker’s son, tries to play with her toys. She even tried to hit him with a balloon, good thing I was able to stop her.

It also happens when I carry other kids, or even when the husband hugs me, she will throw a fit.

Even in the car, when the husband holds my hand, she removes his and holds mine.

Ahaha. Aliw.

The good thing about Elise is that she doesn’t throw a fit in long periods of time. Most of the time she’s consolable and its easy to turn her attention to something else.

But there are times when you can’t seem to make her forget that you’ve done something she doesn’t like. She fights with me. She becomes a real maldita. What’s worst, she reminds me of ME! How mean I was to my mom or how inconsiderate I was to her.

Makes me think of what’s it going to be like when she gets older.

After all that hardship and sacrifices you’ve done as a mom, she will still fight with you and disobey you.

And its going to break my heart, just like how I broke my mom’s.

And it will take a long time before she realizes it. Only after she’s become a mom herself.

Aww…I just pray to the high heavens that she wouldn’t fight with me as much.

Awww how cute! This will definitely be one of those moments you’ll miss once they’re grown. My parents, now that their youngest daughter is pushing 17, always have one of those “nung bata pa kayo…..” stories every now and then, and how they miss it. I sure see what they’re talking about in reading your blog.

Great to see some fellow Filipino bloggers every now and then. Please, do give me a visit in my blog too when you get a chance.

    Season’s Greetings….

Aiza: Hi Marjie, thanks for dropping by. Yeah, that’s one of the reason why I made this blog. If I did forget, I can always read and review again. Let’s exchange links!

    Yahahaahahhaha!

Kids do tend to do that.

Possessive sila sa kanilang nanay! Removing your hubby’s hand, eh? Hahahah!

Aiza: I really find it so sweet that she wanted one or the other. Its also a great opportunity to teach them about sharing hehe.
