A Trip to Mom and Tina’s

Some people (like my husband) can’t seem to understand the importance of dessert. Heck, there’s even a blog out there that’s entitled “Dessert Comes First“. To my family, especially to me and my sister, there’s always, ALWAYS, room for dessert, no matter how full we were.

So after the friday game night, my sister (and best friend in the whole wide world) and her boyfriend picked me up at the office. I was craving for sweets after having dinner with my co-workers. So they brought me to this place called Mom and Tina’s.

When we got there, the homey, old country-style motiff, the whiff of newly baked goodies and coffee welcomed me. Lo and behold, the choices I had to make…

diba ang hirap? Then I finally settled with this little darling…

its a strawberry cheesecake, heavenly. I love cheesecake AND strawberries. Put them together, they make perfect harmony.

So here are our purchases - my cheesecake, Eileen’s Oreo cheesecake and chocolate cupcake.

And Merik’s Dark Toblerone Walnut Torte.

I bought some of these for take home to Grandma.

I can’t finish my uber rich cheesecake, medyo naumay ako. I think it was really meat for sharing.See these happy faces? Well, we’re definitely coming back for more.

Gosh, have you tried Banapple? They have the ultimate banofee pie! I absolutely love it! Banapple is on C5/ Katipunan road on the same side as Katips.

Aiza: Not yet. I’m not fond of bananas kasi. But if its a dessert place, we can always give it a try. Hehe. Thanks for the tip, Marissa!
