What’s the Catch? Perusing a Car Ad

What can you do with P200 a day? I heard the voice over from an ad ask no one in particular. Its actually an ad for a car dealership. He also added that you can own a car for just P200 a day. He made it sound so inviting, so convincing that even the hubby and I discussed it, thinking that we could probably consider retiring old Red.

One version of the ad also mentioned that instead of commuting for P200, why not get your own ride? But then, the catch was still left unsaid.

The reason that we couldn’t sell our beloved car is because of its fuel economy. This most important vehicle feature is also the most that’s taken for granted. The catch of the P200 per day car is that it failed to imply the added fuel cost and maintenance. Forget the plush seating or the bombastic car stereo, think about the long run. Now that the price of gas is rising, don’t you think you should settle for a ride that’s saves you more gas than any other?

Good thing Honda launches VCM 643. A technology that gives the best combination of outstanding power and unmatched fuel efficiency. Find out more by visiting the site.

Now if only the other card ads would mention about fuel efficiency too.
