I’m reaping the punishment of my wayward life a.k.a. my poor eating habits. After a few days of being unwell, a couple bunch of sick leaves this year and discovering sicknesses due to my unhealthy diet, I have decided that it all has to end. NOW.
My husband have the same thoughts too. Last night, on the drive home, he told me I have to watch what I’m eating. His former professor, a nurse who’s in her early 20’s, passed away just this week. She was so young!! Although a tad bit overweight, never in a million years would anyone guessed of her early demise.
I’m 30 and I have fatty liver, hypertension (although now controlled since I lost weight) and migraines due to stress. It’s no joke what my future will be like if I keep up with my binges and the lifestyle.
It’s already a nightmare to think what will be of the little girl and the husband if something happens to me.
So now, I’m making a personal pact. To live fully, I need to eat and live healthy. I have to watch what me and family eats. I have to exercise and sleep well. AND I have to stop from procrastinating so that I wouldn’t end up stressed and cramming at the end.
I hope my story be a lesson to all moms out there. Don’t wait until its too late. I guess 30 years of eating junk should be enough. Might as well set the record straight while there’s still time.

Tama yan! You should be careful with what you eat and your overall health. Once our health acts up, mahirap ibalik sa dati. I learned this the hard way.

You should!
Congratulations for making THE decision.
Now, do it.

Great decision!
I found out that too for myself. Now I can’t eat anything fatty. Try extra virgin olive oil and avoid fried foods. I do that.
That’s a start
