Although inactive in the so-called Philippine Blogosphere (PB), I’m always updated. I frequent a lot of politics-flavored blogs, favoring them over the news for their editorials. But lately, another flame was fanned out of proportions and its sad to say that its among the PB royalty.
I don’t really “get” where and how it all started but obviously it is currently an on-going personal bashing by one foul-penned writer against commenters and fellow bloggers.
As much what I’ve been reading from posts and comments are not agreeable, or sometimes even to the point of infuriating, there is no excuse, WHATSOEVER, to vehemently pound on someone’s parents online.
I’ve even read and shook my head over DJ Montano’s blatant and painful critique over one Ateneo student. (Although, in my opinion, she kinda was asking for it.) Offensive was the word that another blogger described the student’s writing but DJM’s comments on her parents was way, way, way below the belt.
But hey, we’re all entitled to our opinions. That’s what blogging and commenting is all about. And the internet is not private. Everybody and everyone can just search and google on a topic and your site comes up. So if you’d rather not be pounded on, go and write on a paper journal.
If you really want to be known as a basher like DJM, then go do it. Unfortunately, this author is claiming to be everything Filipino. Ayay, manong, ibaba daw ba ng below sea level ang tingin sa mga Pinoy? Talk about crab mentality. I hope you stop claiming to be Pinoy when what you do best is trash on kapwa pinoy.
So what’s really my point? Dang, manong, I hope you stop name dropping and claiming to plea on cleaning the blogosphere. Then pointing fingers at someone for social climbing when you’re actually, evidently, obviously doing the same thing. Maybe you should go and clean your act first before helping others clean up on something else.
Ang gulo, gulo nila grabe!! Buti nalang I’m just a lowly mommy blogger who’d rather stay low-key. Proud to be one of the uhugin and jologs bloggers in PB.
This was actually the first time I commented, or was it the second, on a PB hulabaloo. Nainis lang talaga ako on two things: one – that he claims to be Pinoy, two – that he bashes on someone else’s parents. Eh kung mga magulang mo kaya siraan ng iba, ha?
I wonder if I, in turn, will get bashed with this. Ahahaha.

“gurl! thank you for the link.
that blogger (leche pangalanan na naten! kiver! grrr) Pat Mangubat raised several twisted insinuated issues at my expense:
1.) That anyone who blogs in tagalog are jologs – wa class
2.) That gay people have less intellect than anyone else
3.) That if your a personal blogger you are “others” and does not possess any intelligence
4.) That if you’re not from these “best” schools (haller! US grad kamo ako!) wez ka brains
and many more. Yet the very issue I posed upon him, why is he not “walking his talking”?
i not only get bashed all over, i get threats and i take them seriously and take precautions. you never know in this age kung ano ang gagawin nang mga twisted individuals.
but – like one very nicely written piece (sorry kalimutan ko link) titled “This is my blog” kiver.
pinalaki ako nang magulang to be independent and to fly. at pinag-aral ko sarili ko.
hak hak hak
some bloggers love bash others pero they don’t want to see themselves in the mirror

Ahaha, oo nga eh. Parang knee-jerk reaction yung ginawa nya. Something he never thought over before doing. Unfortunately, its something na hindi na nya mareretract pa.
San ka pa? US grad to the highest level! Di ka po mareach. Wagi.
