Going out with my family was always a blast for me since I don’t get to spend much time with them as compared to my husband’s. My family (plus relatives) all live apart from each other and our schedules are so different.
So when a cousin came home (from the US) for a visit. It gave us an excuse to converge, go out and reminisce all the silly stuff we did when we were still kids.
I had so much fun. If I had the resources, I would host get togethers as often as I can so we can see each other often. This will also give my daughter a chance to be close with her cousins on my side of the family.
Second best part of my weekend was with my husband and our movie date last night. We saw Race to Witch Mountain, a nice Disney film. Our first choice was Watchmen but the latter’s showtime suited our schedule better. I think the last movie we saw was 10,000 B.C. pa.
It didn’t matter much if the movie wasn’t something sulit to watch in a movie theatre (sobrang mahal na ng sine, grabe!!), but spending it with the hubby really meant a lot to me. He’s not very fond of malling and going out. He’s the one who’d rather stay home.
So here’s another thing I should include in our budget, something I crossed out a long time ago – movie dates with the hubby.

One Romance tip Book I read says dating should not stop after marriage, if not it should be enjoyed more. Have fun with dating your hubby again.

Hi Mahalia, yes I think you’re right. Between work, household chores and the little girl, its hard to find me time, let alone couple time. Crazy times
