I remember writing something about my blogger roots – on starting my journal for my folks who are residing on the other side of the globe. Although I’ve tried to change the blog and expected it to evolve into something else (which it didn’t), the essence of it still remains – it will contain my rant and raves on life, albeit, censored and sugar-coated for general readership.
So when a former officemate branded and stereotyped bloggers, I instantly related who I was in the bunch. I’m glad I know where I stand.
Although, ideally, I’d like to make money out of blogging, I just didn’t get around to doing so. I don’t know if its because I haven’t been optimizing much or that a lot of people find my stuff really boring. I’m just glad that the site is self sufficient. The income from ads are just about enough to pay for its cost.
And I’ve been acquainted to so many people because of this site. Going to blogger events and finally meeting people I’ve been corresponding with online.
I will still continue blogging, I will still continue writing, hopefully, until I still can.
