That’s what I felt after the school painting activity last Friday. In lieu of the corporate Christmas party, Jollibee opted to spend the money in the rehabilitation of different schools all over the country that were devastated by the wrath of Ondoy and Pepeng. Our department, Information Management, was assigned the most badly hit secondary school in all of Marikina, Nangka Highschool. (more…)

Not us, but the hundreds of thousands of families caught unaware of the tropical storm that claimed houses, cars, belongings and even lives. It was only during the early evening of saturday when we realized the gravity of the events, even so on sunday. Thank you to the contacts (and their contacts) that posted videos and photos of the aftermath.
I’m happy my family and relatives were spared, suddenly grateful we reside in the far off mountains of QC that is Novaliches.

Ohmayghad! Someone’s actually reading my posts. I mean, not just family or friends, it’s someone I don’t know. And what more, he just quoted my post on his article about the nation’s alarm on extreme weather. Read about it at GlobalVoicesOnline.com.
Coolness!!

I’ve already refused listening to radio and watching on TV about the rants of how the dry spells are affecting everything from the rise of electricity to cloud seeding to global warming. Its just pathetic how they’re making everybody panic over these while this is the PERFECT TIME to inform people of what they should be doing instead. (i just hope some advertising peeps get to read this…) From saving electricity to planting their own household plants or segregating garbage, which could actually lessen the effects of global warming.
