That’s what I felt after the school painting activity last Friday. In lieu of the corporate Christmas party, Jollibee opted to spend the money in the rehabilitation of different schools all over the country that were devastated by the wrath of Ondoy and Pepeng. Our department, Information Management, was assigned the most badly hit secondary school in all of Marikina, Nangka Highschool. (more…)

…rattled out bonkers because of so much stuff on your plate. It makes you realize how nice it is that you’re needed and wanted and useful. And at the end of the day, when you’ve accomplished everything, makes you feel grateful that you’re alive and kicking. (more…)

I just arrived from a book fair sponsored by my company’s foundation (located at one of the lower floors of the building). While browsing through some of the books, I came across a very familiar name which brought back a bad memory.
Begin flashback. I was such a bookworm back in high school. Aside from the romance and mystery pocketbooks on my read list, I also pore over the novels that were required for us to read in school. (I’m such a geek, LOL).

A couple of my friends were boggled as to why I haven’t been online for a few days now, considering I’m the perpetually online gal. Hi guys, thanks for remembering, I got sick. I tried talking to her and making her “daldal” so she would temporary forget her discomfort. After a while of chit-chatting, she suddenly exclaimed, “Mommy cow o, daming cow!” (Pronounced as CAW) (more…)

Lord, I know I’ve been procrastinating too much and the renumeration I’m experiencing right now is far from good. Everything I do is way behind schedule. I’m stressed, I’m getting headaches from worrying too much and I’m even more stressed.
Ayoko pong maloshang! Waah. (more…)

Too bad I forgot to take pictures since a photo essay would have been more interesting than a written version of what happened. Anyway, like the title suggested, we made the most of our typhoon-stricken day.
So what do you do when you don’t have electricty, dial-tone, internet or cellphone load? A couple of years back, we took a lot of pictures and tried all types of funny poses. This time, we just hanged out at home, just the three of us.
