I have to credit this one embarrassing moment to my little girl.

We were in an AUV, riding with a good 10-11 of my husband’s family, en route to a reunion dinner in Banawe, QC. Suddenly my little girl went esctatic when she saw a familiar red and yellow building as we drove by.  She pointed enthusiastically at the famous motel and exclaimed rather boastfully,

Going out with my family was always a blast for me since I don’t get to spend much time with them as compared to my husband’s. My family (plus relatives) all live apart from each other and our schedules are so different.

So when a cousin came home (from the US) for a visit. It gave us an excuse to converge, go out and reminisce all the silly stuff we did when we were still kids. (more…)

…Or Ms. Bulutong is Elise’s latest pet name. Today marks her 7th day with chicken pox. Yes she had been given her vaccine but still she contracted it from her cousins.  All three of them (cousins) had it before the little girl’s turn.  Their Tito Drew, my husband’s cousin, is also down with the pox.
