Elise is learning to self feed now. I make it a point to eat breakfast with her each morning so that I can teach and watch her eat. And what does that translate to? A whole lotta mess!! At least its a cute kind of mess, ahaha!

Help on Action Songs
Elise and I are practicing a lot of action songs now. So far she knows the actions to nursery rhymes like Twinkle, Twinkle, My Toes, Itsy-Bitsy Spider and Ten Little Indians and now learning I Have Two Hands.
Ma-meeee? Yes?
She calls me “mommy” now
Just when I’m thinking of teaching her to call me “nanay” nalang, it sounds more Pinoy and different. Besides, no one’s using it anymore and hearing “nanay” makes me feel more motherly, ahahaha.
Okay, enough ego boosting. I’m just happy she calls me mommy.
