Oh, the things she learns in Sunday School. Grabe I remember singing this when I was a sunday schooler myself, now MY KID is singing it!! La lang, na-amaze lang ako. Heehee.

I usually leave for work with both my husband and the little girl still asleep. But this morning, she woke up from the naturally loud voice of her dad, who was going to drive me to the bus station, and saw me on my way to the door. (We slept in the living room) She asked, “Mommy, san ka punta?” ”Office, darling,” I answered. Then she said, “balik ka agad, ha?” Ahahaha. So sweet.

I thought it was going to be a slow, lonely weekend since my husband’s out of town with friends. But I was wrong. Staying over with family over the weekend was a really good decision. I was able to bond with my grandma, with whom I lived with for a good 6 years, including a year of married life. The stay made me realize how I missed her. She stood as my parent when my own needed to go abroad for work. (more…)

…is that Elise will grow up as headstrong and as stubborn like me. I would imagine how I was with my mom AND THEN imagine it was Elise doing it to me. OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS!!! Takot na ako sa karma ko. LOLOLOL! I wasn’t exactly the model daughter, you know.
So now, before we go to bed, we would usually have these little talks. I would say, “Elise, come here, usap tayo”.
