The company I currently work for is really serious about their Christmas parties.  And I mean that in plural – PARTIES!  The first party I attended was for the division. Imagine that there are 3 divisions so that’s 3 parties. Then the luncheon with the partners which was this year’s Chrismas party celebration since they wanted to forgo the lavish corporate party due to the economic crisis.  Then there’s the departmental parties, which we, in IT, didn’t celebrate.  I don’t know why.  Then today, is the area/building party for the corporate office.   (more…)

Now that our company Christmas party’s over, I can breathe a sigh of relief and be ready to tackle on the next Christmas agenda. 

The Christmas party was fun yesterday.  Considering it was just a luncheon with the partners and not their usual lavish party.  Its actually the first Christmas party I’ve attended where they gave so much moola around.

But the funnest was that, at least, our newbie (aka. baptism by fire) presentation was okay. I mean, we really did make them laugh a lot, which was a good sign, right? Dinaan nalang talaga namin sa kakulitan.  I wonder what everybody here thinks of us now. LOLOLOLOL! (more…)

I’ve always wanted to be a food critic. For one, my appetite is insatiable (ahahaha) and two, I’m adventurous with food (among other things). I’m not scared to try out new food or to shell out if in case it were a bit expensive. As my dad would always say, scrimp on anything else except on food.

The only thing that would make me fail as one is that I always, ALWAYS forget to take photos of the food before it’s all consumed. When the food comes in, it takes extra willpower for me not to dig in immediately. Oh well… (me fails the marshmallow test)

I feel super-duper excited, just like a teenager. Why? Well, I’m going to attend my first ever EB (eye-ball). Another added first before I reach 30. Ahahaha, babaw.

Anyway, I just thought that it would be nice to finally meet people I’ve been interacting with online, fellow bloggers who helped in the campaign for Filipina SERP.

Last Tuesday, I was able to attend our company’s christmas party. Its actually the first ‘bongga’ party that I’ve been to since I got married and gave birth. Held at a 5-star hotel in makati, buffet dinner and an open bar (woohoo). I really had fun. Too much fun, actually, that I felt really, really guilty afterwards. How so? First, I ate like a horse. Then, had too many tequila shots, almost as many as the ones drank by the people at my table added together. I danced like there was no tomorrow. In other words, I partied like the party animal I used to be. Well, at least I did practice a bit of constraint by not dancing with men mano y mano, ika nga, puro group dance lang ang lola, even if there were a couple of invites here and there.
