Once in a while, you’re faced with a situation which makes you rethink and rethink again about yourself or your life. Even the littlest of events. Like just this morning, I was typing up my personal profile on a new social media site I just signed up at. Filling up the “About Me” slot took a while. As much as I want to go on and on about who I am and what I really do, I opted for noting down a simple string of words that describes me best.

Yes, I know I’m weird and dorky in so many ways but here’s another one to add to the list. I just realized that I have this really unnatural way of remembering people, more distinctively, people I know or I’ve spent some time with. (more…)

I don’t want to sound shallow or superficial but I desperately need to lose weight. My hypertension’s back since I gained back 10 pounds. 10 effing pounds!! I just don’t remember how or why but here they are, in bulges and don’t ask what else. (more…)

First time I watched the PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) live. With the hubby and his friend. It was a blast. Tickets compliments of the employer. Oh diba? Too bad the team I was pining on lost. Apparently, most of the players from the team were from the alma mater, too. Tapos, some of the opposing team members came from the rival school. But the good thing about it is that I can get to scream on the top of my lungs and the other people around me don’t mind. (more…)

8 days of no blogging was hell for me. I know there are my other sites like multiply, facebook and *egad* friendster, I just couldn’t get myself to write there. Somehow it just doesn’t feel the same.

A friend from church just updated her multiply photos of her youngest son, Aaron’s, battle with a liver disease. 2 years after the liver transplant, Ron is up and about without any visible trace of his sickness, except when he ocassionally wears his face mask. He’s only 5 6 years old. (more…)
