Elise is really matakaw nowadays. She loves to eat rice with sabaw, especially if its sinigang with gabi, her and her dad’s favorite. The only problem is that she gets hungry early in the morning and asks for her dede.

When I took a leave last monday (yes, this post is so waaay overdue), the hubby and I decided to drop by Trinoma to have Elise’s hair cut. Oh-kay, so I stumbled upon the blog of Wordpress founding developer, Matt Mullenweg and he’s here in the Philippines to attend the Wordcamp. (unlike me, who, for the love of @$#%@, forgot to register)

Lately, she’s been staying at my in-law’s while Paulo goes out everyday to tend to his paperworks. And whenever I call her on the phone, she refuses to talk to me. I don’t know if she knows how to make tampo na or she’s not fond of the phone. Read the rest of this entry »

These are two words that get misused so many times. Especially here in the Philippines and I don’t know exactly why. I get irritated since many celebrities on TV exchanges one for the other. Yes, on TV. And they feel mighty proud of it, too, not knowing that they just made a booboo in front of so many viewers.
To set the record straight, here’s the meaning of these two words.
pronunciation n. The act or manner of pronouncing words; utterance of speech. A way of speaking a word, especially a way that is accepted or.
diction n. From the word Dictionary; choice of words to fit their context Read the rest of this entry »
