….for my mom’s health. My Dad just sent me an email that her work is stressing her out. And its taking its toll on her health. They’ve decided to let go of her full-time job and settle on working on her sideline instead.

She’ll be turning 60 in a few weeks. Please help me pray that she’ll be better soon.

Me? It was in December 2004, the last time I visited them.  Today is my Mom’s 58th birthday. I’m just sad that she’s so far away from Elise and me. I bet she’ll spoil her first apo rotten when we pay them a visit. She gives the best hugs. (more…)

I’m reaping the punishment of my wayward life a.k.a. my poor eating habits. After a few days of being unwell, a couple bunch of sick leaves this year and discovering sicknesses due to my unhealthy diet, I have decided that it all has to end. NOW.

My husband have the same thoughts too.  Last night, on the drive home, he told me I have to watch what I’m eating. His former professor, a nurse who’s in her early 20’s, passed away just this week.  She was so young!! Although a tad bit overweight, never in a million years would anyone guessed of her early demise.
