Need Work! Work For Food!
I just been over at Reyna Elena’s Blog and my goodness, natakot ako sa pinost nya! He entitled it Ay! Leche! probably for the lack of a better term. He just listed a couple of global companies, even some of which are housed locally, that laid off or are going to lay off thousands of our countrymen. Ay, leche talaga! Here are some of them: (more…)

Thursday is THE doomsday for me. Today’s the first time that I decided to brave the roads despite the notorious traffic scheme. I woke up exceptionally early, dragged myself out of bed, in this nice bed weather, (insert pout here) to beat the specified time ban. What I didn’t realize was that traffic was even worse because of the schools where I pass by. So I turned around and took the EDSA route.

Who here has seen the latest Colt 45 ad on local TV? I have and I don’t find it funny. In fact, I was infuriated!
So what if there are guys who would pause in the middle of a game to call his significant other or has taste for female fashion? Its so stupid to stereotype and label that REAL men should be insensitive, fashion blind a-holes.
So to those who conceptualized the commercial – YOU GUYS SUCK! Thank you for screwing up this generation’s concept of masculinity. (more…)

I don’t know if this post is timely since fuel priced did go down almost 10 pesos for the past month. I think its still nice to continue saving up and practice these tips not just to save on fuel, but to cut down on harmful auto emissions.

I just started with my new work last Monday and admittedly it was a big huge culture shock for me. The company where I’m at now is uber conservative and formal as compared to the wild and crazy atmosphere where I came from.
But what struck me most is the almost personal way that the big bosses relate to all their employees, even with the rank and file. Like how timely that one of the bosses sent an email to everybody about the present global financial crisis and how we can deal about it as an individual.
I’m not going to post everything here since I really don’t have the guts to email him and ask if I can repost his email for all the world wide web to see. So here’s a gist of what he sent. (more…)

Oh-kay, so I stumbled upon the blog of Wordpress founding developer, Matt Mullenweg and he’s here in the Philippines to attend the Wordcamp. (unlike me, who, for the love of @$#%@, forgot to register)
Aside from his oh-so-beautiful theme (inggit ang lola mo), he had this really embarrassing photo of the latest immigration/customs form. Susmiyo, I wonder what kind of country he thinks of the Philippines now! What will our tourists say? See the photo after the jump. (more…)

OMG! I just passed by Cubao this morning, on the train. Lo and behold, a big signboard of my favorite band, coming to the Philippines, on my daughter’s birthday, to play one night only.
I’m like, WTF!! (ahaha very unChristian) Why did I find out just today when its a mere 6 days away??
*grumble, grumble, grumble*
